Energy Assessment has become an important step towards reducing the carbon impact of buildings. Only by testing the energy efficiency of our buildings can we know their full impact on the environment and how we can reduce this. Recent legislation has made Energy Performance Certificates compulsory for all buildings being sold, rented or constructed, with the aim of reducing the environmental impact of the UK’s housing stock.

Stroma can offer a full service to meet your energy assessment needs. Our fully-accredited energy assessors are able to carry out assessments on domestic, commercial and public buildings. For domestic buildings, we can carry out SAP assessments and also rate buildings against the Code for Sustainable Homes. For commercial and public buildings, we offer SBEM/DSM and DEC assessments. Our status as a CLG-approved accreditation body means we are also able to issue the required Energy Performance Certificates, as well as Display Energy Certificates for public buildings
