Energy assessment forms an integral part of the EPBD (Energy Performance of Buildings Directive). The government stipulates that all energy assessors join an accreditation scheme which is responsible for both the quality of the energy assessments carried out and the energy performance certificates (EPC) or display energy certificates (DEC) produced. Stroma Accreditation, on behalf of CLG, undertakes regular quality assurance surveillance to ensure that all assessments undertaken meet the high standard required.

In addition to the above accreditation schemes, we offer a full range of training courses, enabling candidates with limited or no current experience of energy assessment to reach national occupational standards (NOS). If you qualify for the APEL (Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning) route, we can assist you with this process too. APEL is a fast-track to accreditation for experienced energy assessors already working in the sector. Thus, whatever your individual requirements, you can meet them all in one place with the Stroma Group by letting us guide you through the training and accreditation process with our co-ordinated, yet low cost, approach. We therefore offer you a complete, convenient and cost-effective solution.
