| Stroma Accreditation Ltd. has been approved by Communities and Local Government (CLG) to train and accredit energy assessors for existing domestic properties, newly constructed dwellings, public buildings and non-dwellings (for clarification please read the attached CLG approval letter). |

Just a few weeks after issuing the FIRST Commercial EPC, Stroma Accreditation has achieved another ‘first’, by lodging the first DEC (Display Energy Certificate) for a public building in the UK.

Stroma are providing an Approved Accreditation Scheme for Public Buildings in accordance with the above approval from CLG. The scheme is responsible for ensuring the quality of the registered Energy Assessors of Public Buildings and the Display Energy Certificate (DEC) that they produce. Stroma offer Public Building assessment training courses across the UK and Northern Ireland, we are fully accredited to provide you with the best possible service in your new career path.
The Stroma Accreditation Scheme will offer you:
- Calculation software required.
- Access to industry experts in this sector, and relevant associated sectors.
- Provide standards, procedures, a code of conduct and all materials required to conduct your assessment activity.
- Ongoing technical support and CPD assistance to ensure all members are qualified to conduct energy assessments.
- Provide all assessors with a web site listing, Stroma undertake marketing activity on behalf of all scheme members.
- An independent complaints resolution process.

Training
Stroma offer two routes to Accreditation, this can either be an add on to our SBEM level 3 course (free of charge) and consists of 1 day extra training. Option 2 is a stand alone course for a fee of £500. Please call directly for further information on the software and training package.
